Authorities ready to go, chief says.

Hopatcong police have set up a command center at the department and are ready for any problems caused by Hurricane Irene, Police Chief John Swanson said Saturday night.

"It's all quiet so far," said Swanson, the coordinator of Hopatcong's emergency management council. "We've got all the manpower to be ready for whaever comes our way. But the rain you're seeing is all we're seeing.
