Police: Drunk Driver Hit Parked Car

A drunk driver crashed his vehicle into a parked car on May 6, police said.
Police said an officer responded to a report of a male who rear-ended a parked car, walked inside a family member's house and fell asleep on the couch.
Daniel Bedotto of Newton was charged with driving while intoxicated, leaving the scene of an accident, failure to report an accident and reckless driving. Bedotto was also charged with a cell phone violation after, police said, Bedotto admitted texting while driving.
