Police: Drunk Man Urinated on Jail Bed

The following arrest information was supplied by the Hopatcong police department. It does not indicate a conviction.

A drunk Hopatcong man threatened officers and urinated on his jail cell bed, police said.

Antonio Nicholas was charged with lewdness, criminal trespass, disorderly conduct and possessing alcohol underage.

Police said they received a report of an intoxicated man wandering around a house and entering a car. When police arrived and asked a sleeping Nicholas to get out of the car, which belonged to his friend's family, he threatened officers and called them racist, police said.

While at the police department, Nicholas started jumping on the jail cell mattress and yelled at the officers, saying, "If you take these cuffs off I promise someone's getting hurt" and "Take these cuffs off and you know what will happen" before urinating on the mattress, police said.

Nicholas was processed and released, police said.
