Police: Machete Blade Stolen from Car
Another vehicle on same street also broken into, cops say.
Police said several items were stolen from a car on Adelphi Trail on July 3.
Police said when they responded to an early-morning call about the thefts, the car's owner said he left it unlocked overnight and someone had taken a 20-inch machete blade, a fishing pole and a backpack filled with lures.
Police valued the stole property at about $190.

Police said inside the car a GPS, radio system and a custom speaker box with an amplifier were left untouched.
Police also said they soon found another car down the street with one of its doors opened. Police said a neighbor told them the car's owner was on vacation. Police said they weren't sure if anything was stolen from the car.
