Police: Man Punched His Family Member, Threw Knife at Cops
20-year-old facing several charges.
A Hopatcong man punched his family member in the eye and threw a knife at borough police officers on May 1, police said.
Police charged Peter Macaluso, 20, with aggravated assault, unlawful possession of a weapon and simple assault.
Police said they responded to Macaluso's home on a report of an out-of-control male. Macaluso's family member told police he or she was punched in the eye, police said.

Police said Macaluso threw a knife at officers when they asked him to leave his room and walk downstairs. Police said the knife missed the officers and that Macaulso then came out of his room and was arrested.
Macaulso was fingerprinted, photographed and severed with complaints before being taken to St. Clare's Hospital in Dover, police said.
