Sean Tinker, 41, was charged with disorderly conduct stemming from an incident at about 4 p.m. Friday at the intersection of Sparta Avenue and Woodport Road, Sgt, John-Paul Beebe said.
According to Beebe, a 21-year-old woman made a lawful right turn at the corner of Sparta Avenue and Woodport Road as Tinker attempted to make a left turn from the jughandle at the same intersection.
As the vehicles entered the intersection at the same time, they were both forced to stop to avoid colliding with each other, Beebe said.
The woman beeped her horn at Tinker, who then got out of his vehicle and punched the woman's driver side window, Beebe said.
Other motorists called 911 to report the incident and Sgt. Jeffrey Mase stopped both vehicles as they left the intersection, Beebe said.
There were no injuries or damaged reported at the scene, according to Beebe. Tinker is scheduled to appear in court Thursday at 8:30 a.m. The woman was not cited.
