Police: Van Stolen, Music Blaring, Left Running in Street

Owner says he always leaves keys in the car.

A van was left running with its music blasting in the middle of Rollins Trail, police said. Police said it was stolen, but they couldn't find the thief.

Police said they responded to the report at 5:05 a.m. on July 3. Police said the van, getting pelted by rain, contained children's toys, a car seat and a yellow plastic bag filled with beer cans.

Police said the scrape marks on the van's side looked like they had occurred in a hit-and-run.
