Police: Drunk Driver Registered .19

The following arrest information was supplied by the Hopatcong police department. It does not indicate a conviction.

A Stanhope woman was driving drunk on River Styx Road, police said.

Officers pulled over Nicole Freeswick around midnight Sunday, police said. She admitted to having several glasses of wine before entering the car, police said.

Freeswick then failed field sobriety tests, police said.

Freeswick was taken to the Stanhope police department for a breath test, which showed she had a blood-alcohol level of .19, or more than double the legal limit.

She was charged with driving while intoxicated, reckless driving, failure to keep right and with driving without registration or insurance. She was processed and released to a friend, police said.
