Recycling Center, Borough Hall Open, Police Say
Police also say DPW is still working on clearing trees in roadways and to call if help is needed.
Hopatcong police released information on Friday regarding several important notices:
- The recycling center is open daily from 8 a.m. to 3 p.m. until further notice
- Garbage collection is as scheduled.
- Borough Hall is open from 9 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.
- A garbage dumpster is available at the DPW yard located at 120 River Styx Road from 8 a.m. to 3 p.m. for only food disposal.
- DPW is clearing trees in roadways. If you live on a blocked street and cannot get out call (973)810-8346.
- Ice is distributed at the Sussex County Fairgrounds.
- Hazard Waste Day is Saturday at Scuma in Lafayette from 7 a.m. to 2 p.m.
