Sparta Man Admits Illegally Entering Home

Incident occurred in January; sentencing set for July.

Michael Salsano, 24, of Sparta, admitted to a judge on June 4 that he illegally entered a home in that town on January 12, according to the Sussex County Prosecutor's Office.

Salsano was originally charged with criminal trespass, a crime of the fourth degree.

Sentencing is currently scheduled for July 26, the prosecutor's office said.

Criminal trespass carries a maximum sentence of up to 18 months in prison.
