Sparta Man Indicted for Alleged Knife Attack on Roommate
Kevin Rios, 23, faces assault and weapons charges for October altercation.
A Sparta man has been indicted on several charges for allegedly stabbing his roommate in the chest during an altercation at their apartment.
Kevin Rios, 23, has been indicted on a second-degree attempted aggravated assault charge, and third-degree aggravated assault with a deadly weapon, aggravated assault with significant bodily injury and possession of a weapon offenses.
Rios is accused of stabbing his roommate during an altercation in October in the Sparta Lake Development.
Arraignment in Superior Court in Newton will be held within six weeks, the Sussex County Prosecutor's Office said.
