Sparta Man Indicted on Charges of Threats, Assaulting Cops
Grand jury hands up charges on 66-year-old; to be arraigned within six weeks.
A 66-year-old Sparta Township resident has been indicted on three different charges by a grand jury, and will be arraigned within six weeks, the Sussex County Prosecutor’s Office said.
Wadim Sakiewicz was charged with terroristic threats, aggravated assault on a law enforcement officer and aggravated assault on an emergency first aid provider.
Sparta Township Police Officers Pensado and Schomp investigated the incident initially.

Superior Court Judge Peter Conforti scheduled the arraignment to occur within six weeks of the indictment.
