A potential land donation, a new truck and and an award look to highlight Hopatcong's mayor and council meeting on Wednesday at 7:30 p.m. at borough hall.

DONATED LAND The council will discuss the possibility of Moses Marx donating an unspecified amount of land and to the borough. Open Space Vice Chairman Cliff Lundin Marx owns at least 68 acres, and that the borough hopes to obtain more contiguous open space.

NEW TRUCK The council could adopt a resolution awarding a contract to a Fairview GMC truck deal to buy a pick-up truck for no more than $47,386.

THANKING A FIREMAN Mayor Sylvia Petillo will present Robert Tallaksen with an award for "his bravery at a recent fire," the agenda said, referring to a in July.
