Previewing Wednesday's Council Meeting

Hopatcong's mayor and council will meet at 7:30 p.m. at the on Wednesday. At the last meeting, a borough fireman was awarded for bravery.

Snowplowing Stipends The council could pass a resolution authorizing stipends to Department of Public Works employees for work outside normal hours for snowplowing emergencies.

Highlands Planning The council could discuss a letter from the borough's planning board regarding the Highlands planning process.

Hiring a Consultant The council could adopt a resolution to hire a consultant to help the borough administer the Small Cities grant obtained to renovate the Hopatcong Senior Citizens Center.
