As a Hopatcong police lieutenant, Tina Kraus knows how to defend herself. Looks like that won't be an issue for her daugther, Ashley, either.
Mayor Sylvia Petillo gave Tina and Ashley Kraus, 7, at Wednesday's council meeting Hopatcong's You Made A Difference award for the pair's achievements at a martial arts championship in Indianapolis in late June.
Tina Kraus' husband, David, earned the award in February for leading the borough in drunk-driving arrests.
