Snow Causes Early Dismissal at Hopatcong, Sparta Schools
Schools in the borough and township were let our early Tuesday.
Children in the Hopatcong and Sparta school districts got a break Tuesday. A snowstorm promising as much as a foot of snow by Wednesday caused an early dismissal in both district schools.
Hopatcong schools let out between 11:30 a.m. for the high school, 11:40 a.m. for the middle school, and varying times for each of the elementary schools. (To find your school, go to Hopatcong Schools, click on the appropriate school tab, and then click on 'Schedules' to find the early dismissal times.)
Sparta High School was dismissed at 11:58 a.m.; the middle school at 12:40, and the three elementary schools on varying schedules (to find a school, go to the township BOE website and school down the menu on the upper left side of the screen.)
