'The Secret Garden' Comes to Hopatcong High Stage

Postponed due to Sandy, performance will be held Thursday to Sunday.

The Hopatcong High School Drama Club will present the play,"The Secret Garden" this weekend in the high school's auditorium. The play was originally to be performed in late November but was rescheduled due to Superstorm Sandy.

"They have been working on this since September, the week after school started," director Joe Ross said. "We have 10 actors and about 35 students in the crew. They have all put a lot of work into this."

"This my second time performing on this stage," said Alexis Mott, whose character Mary Lennox is on stage nearly the entire production. "I like to act.  I've acted in all my church plays. I was very excited when I got this role."
