Find Fresh, Never Frozen Turkeys for Thanksgiving
Don't want a frozen bird for Thanksgiving? Here is a list of farms and markets where you can shop local and get a fresh bird.
Many people still embrace the turkey as the central Thanksgiving entree, however, a growing number are turning their backs on the frozen carcasses found in most supermarkets. For some, fresh is the only way to go.
If you are one of those discerning souls, this list is created especially for you. Here is where fresh turkeys can be found in the area, and, in some cases, where they can no longer be acquired, which we add to save you a phone call when possible. We cannot guarantee availability at any of the following:
