'Huddle Shuttle' Makes Stop in Sparta

NFL experience brought to township through NY/NJ Super Bowl Host Committee.

With football season about to begin, Sparta residents got a chance to get in the spirit early when the NY/NJ Super Bowl Host Committee brought its "Huddle Shuttle" to the township on Friday night, according to New Jersey Herald.

The newspaper reported the 14,000-pound vehicle hopes to bring the Super Bowl experience to towns in the New Jersey and New York area. The vehicle made its way to Sparta and Ungerman Field through an affiliation the township has with USA Football.

As part of the vehicle's visit, kids were able to kick field goals, run out of a tunnel similar to that at MetLife Stadium, tour replica locker rooms and more, New Jersey Herald reported. Roman Oben, a former New York Giants offensive lineman, also spoke to the kids about the upcoming football season, according to the Herald.
