Free Film Screening at Sparta Library Features 'Red 2'

The action-comedy sequel features aging elite spies on the hunt for a missing nuclear device.

The Sparta Public Library Saturday Movie features Bruce Willis, John Malkovich, Mary-Louise Parker, Catherine Zeta Jones, Byung Hun Lee, Helen Mirren and Sir Anthony Hopkins in the hilarious action caper "Red 2."

In this sequel to the original "Red," which introduced the aging elite operatives in 2010, retired C.I.A. agent Frank Moses (Willis) reunites his "Retired Extremely Dangerous" spy team three years later to travel the world in search of—uh oh—a missing portable nuclear device. Will the senior spies save the world and this great nation?

The film is rated PG-13, and the library is promoting it as a movie for adult audiences.

Admission to the screening is free, but you must register in advance to attend, which you can do online. The film begins at noon Saturday in the library's large meeting room.

The Sparta Library is at 22 Woodport Road.
