These guys are unbelievable crooks! I blew out 2 tires near lakeside so I brought my old pickup there to get 2 new tires. Of course the only tires they had in stock were one of the most expensive kind. I had no choice but to shell out $300 for 2 tires on an old 95 pickup on its last leg.
I also had a spare rim that was dented. The owner took a look at it & said he'd be able to fix it no problem!
He fixed the dent in the rim, but didn't have a tire. So he told me to leave the rim with him, once he got his hands on a decent tire that would fit, he would mount it and give me a call. I left him 2 phone #s to reach me at and thanked him again.
A month went by, no phone call. So I stopped in the other day & asked if he had gotten a tire yet. He said he didn't know what I was talking about. So I explained to him in FULL detail how he personally banged out the rim for me & how I PERSONALLY WATCHED HIM DO IT, how i bought him a coffee, helped him look around for a tire,etc. He says he remembers no such thing!
He tells me "well we don't throw ANYTHING away, so where did your rim go?" But offers to get me a rim that would fit my truck. Tells me he'd call in 3 days. No call.
So I stop in there today & he tells me "You know what, I talked to the person that worked on your tires, there was no spare" He flat out called me a liar! I told him I am taking my business to STS and he kicked me out of the store! My father had to go in to PAY for the replacement rim he lost.
