Hopatcong Municipal Alliance Mission

The goal of the Municipal Alliance is to develop a state-wide network of community based drug and alcohol prevention programs. The programs are funded by municipal grants from the Drug Enforcement Demand Reduction Fund. These funds are from fines collected from drug and alcohol offenses. The grants are monitored by the Governor's Council on Alcohol and Drug Abuse (GCADA). The community programs are planned and implemented by volunteers who are residents of Hopatcong to meet the needs of the community.
