Michelle - please get it straight... There is no PAC. All Literature requires a "paid for by" and the Treasurer of the Campaings name included. Didn't you run for mayor last year? I would think you would know this.

ReplyRandy, Michelle, here is a link for you. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=kFnFr-DOPf8&feature=youtube_gdata_player I do know that Randy, in particular, likes links.
Tammy, LL, you are of course able to have an opinion - Personally, I am not so sure you represent the majority on your opinion - vocal minority - quite possibly however. That is what elections are for - feel free to run on the clown suit platform - if you win - that would cearly indicate that the majority of the population agreed with you and we would soon thereafter see you and others zooming around in little clown cars. The way I heard the meeting went - Michelle has a real problem playing well with others, clearly articulating any point, and speaking out of turn in a public meeting governed by Roberts Rules. It was too bad that Randy needed to run out of the meeting so early - I heard that there were some answers for him.

I know these roads and it is no where near the lake. You would need serious hoofs to navigate this property near the end of the planet.... But Watcher - you knew that already didn't you? I am sure Randy can be busy at is computer searching this out as well...

Entertaining - yes... Accurate - no... If you are suggesting that with an approved OSRP the mayor and council can supersede state law and regulations on what does or does not qualify certain land for certain tax treatment is false. You or I may or may not agree with the treatment, but the treatment is based on state law and regulation not local decisions. That was my point not on what, if any! Open Space the borough may determine is in the best interest of the borough to acquire.

Oh Michelle - please do a bit more research - I believe, with some research, you will find out that you are very wrong about this "tax break". It is done in conjunction with meeting certain state requirements that are the same throughout the state - it has nothing to do with this mayor or any past mayor here or anywhere. If you or i like the idea is one thing - but why it is possible is a result of the state. Now then... Let's try to be a bit more responsible in what we write here. Well you are entertaining anyway...

Watcher - Where where were "you told" the combined budgets were $25k more than the original budgets of the two commissions individually. I believe that if you ask the town CFO you will find this to be false.

Hey LL... You do realize that the article is about the SCHOOL budget? The School Board puts that together NOT the mayor and council...
