Boro-wide Garage Sale Kicks Off in Hopatcong Next Week
Maps of sales will be distributed beginning Sept. 11.
Hopatcong is getting ready for its annual borough-wide garage sale next week and there is still time for those interested in selling items to sign up.
The sale will be held Sept. 14 and Sept. 15, rain or shine, from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. Individual homeowners will sell items at their homes throughout the borough.
Participants who fill out an application at Borough Hall will have the $5 fee waived and be able to have their address listed on the map of homes hosting sales, which will be distributed on the Hopatcong website and in paper after Sept. 11.
As the sale is borough-wide, those wishing to host other garage sales throughout the year will not have this sale counted against the two garage sales per year allotted under borough ordinance.
